"...The West Bank, although inhabited by millions of Palestinians, is the heartland of much ancient Jewish history so for many Israelis giving it up is a painful prospect and should only come as part of a comprehensive deal including Palestinian recognition of Israel as the homeland of the Jewish people. ..."

I can only imagine how painful it was for Ethan Bronner of the NYT to include this paragraph... my eyes, my eyes!

Taking another doctor break from the blogosphere.

Honest Reporting has been working on trying to help Bronner see things more clearly. There seem to be indications that his cataracts are improving.

Meanwhile, here are the Latma folks, who see it all too clearly, with their latest tune:

WJ, My imagination reels at the methodology needed to help Bronner "see things more clearly"
:)

I am at my second PC, without my TNR password. So, please CC, keep throwing the flames at Gitlin...I really wonder why TNR keeps letting him creep in.

I decided to renew for the online version only. It has it's moments even if I have to go to PJM to recover at times from the blindness of so many acolytes.

gitlin doesn't say that Jews should accept the Arab narrative.

That is essentially Radical New Leftism in a nutshell.

Getting White Euro Christians to accomodate everybody elses narrative, to the detriment of White Euro Christians.

in my emailbox:
"SUNDAY, NOVEMBER 21ST -11th and 12th graders will meet at [local synagogue] at 12:00 noon to carpool
to UMass[Amherst] for a program about how to handle issues about Israel when you attend college.
The program starts at 12:30 pm and will end at 3:00 pm. Lunch will be included."

I used to joke that this part of Western Massachusetts is like Sweden.
Today's Malmo was NOT what I was thinking of, but I am now.

"Israel moves to counter Hezbollah" Nov 20, 2010
http://www.atimes.com/atimes/Middle_East/LK20Ak05.html

[hopeful this is the accurate explanation of "...the Israeli government approved withdrawal from the northern part of the village of Ghajar..."

AsiaTimesonline is such a motley crew of paid contract writers, but Kotsev seems to have standards. Anyway, keeping an eye on Lebanon and Hezbollah is certainly far more important than the idiotic obsession with apartments in Jerusalem.

Ok, I confess, I also had to recover from completely agreeing with roid on tax policy. (He is so different outside the Spine.)

Before I could claim agreement in comment, a script error closed that browser. Fate!

Elsewhere, I find myself quoting MacBeth to a gaggle of Palin fanatics:
"Out, out, brief candle! Life's but a walking shadow, a poor player that struts and frets his hour upon the stage and then is heard no more: it is a tale told by an idiot, full of sound and fury, signifying nothing." Macbeth Quote (Act V, Scene V).

Then I compare Palin to Obama...
